Back at Miria

When we first arrived at Ali Tupu it was just Winterlude and Bruadair anchored there. Then a day or two later four other boats joined us and yesterday five more boats. What a busy anchorage! We took advantage of a NW wind today and left Ali Tupu and sailed back to Miria. The sea was very choppy with lots of white caps but the swell was only about 2 to 3 feet so not bad. With a freshly cleaned boat bottom we sailed nicely under jib alone for most of the way and did 6 knots on a beam reach. Our trip today took four and a half hours. Anchored here behind Miria the water is flat and very comfortable. We'll probably hang out here for a day or two then head up to Esnedup or Green Island, not sure yet. David's busy making fish tacos right now which will make for an excellent lunch.
