New batteries, wet kitty

We got our new batteries on the boat today. It took two hours to get the old ones out and the six new Rolls EHW220 batteries in. We have the generator running so we can get the new batteries fully charged, might take all evening. We're so glad to have that behind us now. Never again will we use the person that sold us the batteries for anything else. It was a horrific nightmare. We sent emails asking for prices and got replies saying it was too much work and that we should just research it on our own. At another point we were told a quote had been completed but the person wouldn't email it to us, told us if we needed the stuff we should travel to Bocas and see him in person. When we finally agreed to buy the batteries we listed the terms of the sale, made the payment, then started receiving emails saying the terms of the sale had changed. Good thing about emails is we have a record and seriously considered just disputing the charges with our credit card company. In the end we're happy to have finally gotten our batteries. We've used this company exclusively for four and a half years. We normally deal with the rep in Panama City, this is the first time dealing with this new rep in Bocas. Never again. We'll be glad to use the Panama City rep, and him only.

Ashley has been in heaven today. Its been raining most of the day and she's been sitting on deck under the awning watching the rain hit the deck. When it eases to a light rain Ashley roams the deck, sits in the rain and then licks up as much fresh rain water as she can. She's been doing this for three days, coming in only to eat, use the litter box and to cuddle at night. Crazy cat.
